We’re excited to introduce our latest LEAD™ Cohort, who began their transformative journey with our immersive Overnight Experiential last week. Across two days, the delegates engaged in meaningful learning, shared plenty of memorable moments and sparked insightful discussions.
The power and positive energy generated by bringing leaders together is one of the most potent features of our leadership programme. Learning together - witnessing first-hand each other's professional practice and strategies in order to evaluate and improve their own performances, whilst inspiring belief in each other and their team - is something our clients tell us they value most.
A common question our delegates wrestle with before they make the decision to join our programme is how to improve their leadership and take their business to the next level when they are not sure where to begin.
Eight out of 10 delegates state they see benefits in their business within two months of beginning the programme, and 100% say they're better leaders by the end.
On LEAD™, CEOs, MDs, directors and senior managers work together to tackle the real-life challenges that leaders in organisations across all sectors face. This new group of 10 senior figures from successful companies across Gloucestershire, Bristol, Wiltshire and Somerset join our Alumni and become part of a unique group of over 300 leaders who have developed themselves, their team and their organisations through our LEAD™ programme.
While for some it may feel ‘lonely at the top’, this group of leaders is embracing the opportunity to witness at first-hand over the next 10 months each other’s techniques and strategies, to hear from our Masterclass speakers, and critically think about what they need to do to become more effective leaders to develop their organisations.
It is common for leaders to question whether they can commit sufficient time to develop their learning alongside their business responsibilities. Over half of the organisations we work with don't have a business plan at the start of our programme (at least not beyond the one that sits in a drawer to be wheeled out to the likes of banks); but by the end of it, 95% of them are able to work with their senior leadership team to create an up-to-date, working, strategic plan that informs them and the rest of the organisation what their mission, purpose and vision is, where the business is going and what their goals are, and as importantly, how they are going to achieve the plan and the actions they need to do in order to take their business to the next level.
Consistently delegates find that by taking time out to participate on LEAD™, they are better able to focus on important, strategic matters rather than being drawn into the daily minutiae. And the self-belief and confidence gained by the leaders in being more effective and inspiring belief in their teams is exactly what many of them are looking for.
During the two days, the Cohort started to reflect on leadership, what it means to them personally and what it means to them in their organisations, as well as getting to know each better. We give a warm welcome to you all!
