Celebration of Leadership

Alumni and delegates deliver Christmas Masterclass This year our Christmas Masterclass was delivered by fellow business leaders - delegates and alumni from across a range of our programs

One of the most valued aspects of our programs, our delegates tell us, is getting the chance to hear from other leaders, regardless of whether they are from the same industry, or in a completely different sector; to listen to their successes and challenges, their experiences and stories, and more specifically, what they have been doing with their learning from the programs.

It's not often that such a large Cohort of leaders gets to hear first-hand how others have interpreted and implemented the tools, techniques and models from across our main programs, LEAD™, GOLD, GAIN™ and LEADlight, so having almost 100 of them in the room, supporting each other, was fantastic.

Listening to what these organisations from the west and south-west of England are achieving through their leadership, business development and Good Dividends, and putting continuous development at the heart of their organisations and employees was very inspiring indeed.

This was the line-up for the day, with a Q&A session at the end of each presentation:

✔️ Transformational Change – Justin Young, Operations Director, Cotteswold Dairy (LEAD™ Cohort 12, GOLD™ Cohort 5, GAIN™ Cohort 4)

✔️ 4Ps – Mission, Vision, Purpose – Andy Barham, Managing Director, Premiere Kitchens (LEAD™ Cohort 17, GOLD™ Cohort 8)

✔️ Using LEAD™ tools – Kirsty Day, Director of Recovery Services, The Nelson Trust (LEAD™ Cohort 18, GOLD™ Cohort 10)

✔️ Performance Management Cycle – Jemma King, Accounts Manager and Ryan Maycroft, Business Resource Manager, Forge Motorsports (delegates on Forge Motorsport bespoke Team Leader leadership program)

✔️ The Model Engineer – Leigh Smith, Chief Engineer, SK Heating & Cooling (LEADlight Cohort 1)

✔️ STAR (Recognition and Motivation) – Neil Birt, Production Supervisor, Stewart Golf (LEADlight Cohort 5)

Whilst all the speakers delivered stellar presentations, with many in the audience commenting how great it was to take away so many ideas to reflect on, it was especially magical watching four leaders at middle and junior management level (Jemma, Ryan, Leigh and Neil) captivate their audience of CEOs, directors and senior managers as they discussed Performance Management, Idea Generation, Best Practice and Recognition.

To round off the presentations we were pleased to share news of what QuoLux™ have been doing and present our new program, available to delegates and alumni only, Q+.

And of course, a Christmas Masterclass wouldn't be the same without a Christmas lunch, over which there was plenty of catching up with old friends and making new acquaintances!

Cordell Ray MBE, CEO of Caring for Communities and People, shared the following,

"Looking at the pedigree and quality of the businesses who work with QuoLux™ speaks volumes about the company - undeniable and awesome to be amongst!"
